The lights are on
We always check our comments to see what games you'd like to see featured in Replay, and this week's selection is one that's been requested many times. Turok: Dinosaur Hunter was released on February 28th of 1997, and was met with critical and commercial success. At this early point in the Nintendo 64's life, games were scarce and shooters even moreso. The 64-bit FPS crown was handed over to Goldeneye later that year, but many gamers still have fond memories of raptor murder and awkward platforming. Take a look at the newest edition of Replay below to see how Turok has stood the test of time.

O my god, Turok, Being seven didn't stop me from playing that game all day long. I mostly played it with the cheats on, I wasn't that great with the game, though I did try to play through it without them. I remember trying to kill that monkey.
P.S. Having Jumping Flash for the PS1 on your next Replay
Replay ideas: The Crash Bandicoot games, Boogerman, Pen Pen Triicelon and Cool Boarders 2.
TUROK: DINOSAUR HUNTER is my favorite N64 game of all-time.

We already did Jumping Flash, it was the Replay Roulette pick in our Masters of Teras Kasi episode: gameinformer.com/.../replay-teras-kasi.aspx
How about some retro Mario Party ;) .Just kidding.
Never had an N64, but I remember playing this. My god it was fun, especially the weapon the turned enemies into like stone and then shattered them.
yay good job GI doin turok its alot different than i remember...next time i suggest doin pokemon snap lol
you listened to me, you really listened! i'm so touched. excuse me, i need a moment
you guys should replay the first tomb raider or the wrath of kane for ps1
great game
I suggest "Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon" for the N64. Fighting with tobacco pipes, mallets, bazookas.....and a giant robot who was also a movie star. A crapload of bizarre japanese wackiness that never EVER got boring.
I played Turok for the 1st time at my store 3 weeks ago to test out some used n64's to see if they worked. Man, I have never played a game with this controls scheme ever. It was so awkward that I felt like it was my 1st time playing a game in my life.
Glad you guys played it and not me :) Love Replay and I can't wait for the next
I loved Turok!
Haha, "Trippin' balls." Golden.
haha this was great like always
i think it would be awesome if you replayed "Star Wars: Shadow of the Empire"
man i spent so many hours on this and turok 2 and i can say that at the time i was about 8 years old and i just adored this game and yes the cerebral borer was just the best!
I remember I payed $80 for this at Fry's when I was around eight. It was such a great game at the time. Too bad they did such a horrible job with the recent one.
A for my recommendation, I'll go with Vectorman for the Mega Drive.
you guys gotta review Half-life
Seems better than the remake of the released of few months ago. On a side note I have always wonder others ideas on Bubsy 3d a disturbing playstation platformer
Great replay. Never play the 1st Turok but liked Seeds of Evil. The multiplayer was amazing! I would like to see you guys replay Tenchu for the ps1.
