The lights are on
This week is a bit of a departure from our first two episodes of Replay. Whereas the previous editions featured well-received titles from the PSone era, we'll be looking at a game today that's a lot more recent and a lot less good: Jaws Unleashed. For those of you who played it, you'll remember it as a deeply flawed but oftentimes hilarious title that puts you in the shoes (fins?) of Peter Benchley's terrifying creation. Jaws Unleashed asked gamers to eat bungee jumpers, water skiers, and pretty much anyone unfortunate enough to be visiting Amity Island. Check out the video below to see me, Andrew Reiner, Tim Turi, and Phil Kollar terrorize the seas, and stick around for our Replay Roulette bonus game.

Jaws so much amless fun
i loved jaws unleashed :(
I think you were playing the roulette game right. in fact, if you didn't throw up in the first 2 minutes of azurik, then your playing it wrong.
hahah i had a sweet time on this game
lol this is such a ridiculous game... who gave the go ahead for something like this...
WTF?!?!?! i didnt know u could get lightning zap! lol! go on shore and you could destroy the island. use it in water, and you would kill everything. its kinda like a picachu. hahahahahahahaha!!!
you guys should totally do oddworld munch oddysee. that game was just awesome while also ridiculous.
haha when this came out i wanted it so bad, but something else came out and I forgot all about it!!
Just ordered a copy off Amazon for under 7 bucks, this game looks hilarious.
hahahaha that whole thing was awsome
My friend has this game and he HATES it.
This game looks fun
By the way, Azurik was a cover story. I just checked in the cover gallery,
Really good replay.
this game was only rated like 3.5
I got azyrik for free from a friend. I played it once for a shorter amount of time that you guys did and i never once wondered why it was given t me for free.
Peter Benchley died in 2006... this game was released in 2006... coincidence?
I remember playing Azurik for a bit back in the days of original xbox. I really liked the combat system with all the cool melee combos and once you actually got your elemental powers back you could combine them for even cooler attacks.
But ya...the game really gives you zero sense of direction so I spent a healthy amount of my first playthrough just wandering aimlessly around. I actually had to look up an f.a.q. for the game and even then I only made it about halfway through before quitting cause it's actually a really really long game. I really don't know how the developers expected anyone to manage such a vast game with literally no sense of where to go or what to do.
You guys are great, and I now want Jaws Unleashed
