The lights are on
Often called Game Informer’s Library of Congress, the Vault is hands-down the best part of the office. With over 11,000 games currently stored inside and still growing, it really is a sight to behold that each and every editor shows off with nerdy pride. As part of our 200th issue celebration, we’re finally unbolting the locks and giving you the full reveal of everything inside. Above you will find a full, one gigabit interactive 3D image that now only allows you to look around on your own, but zoom in to see just part of our huge collection. To the right and immediately below, we’ve compiled some pretty cool stats and broken down the totals by platform. And finally below, you will find a full, HD video tour with Executive Editor Andrew Reiner and Media Editor Nick Ahrens. They take a walk through the entire collection and point out just some off the coolest items inside. So what are you waiting for? Click the magic link below and start exploring. Note to users, there is no commenting on the special edition Vault page so this is your place to sound off.

It's like dying and going to gamer heaven. I was I had a vault like that.
You don't have enough locks on that door. I know you don't. now where was my crowbar again.........
Time to put all those viewings of oceans 11 to use
That was glorious.
I was hoping to see Time Crisis 2 in mint condition, though.
Oops, I meant Time Crisis (the first).
OH MY GOD theres probably over $100,000 worth of games and peripherals in there....omfg.........OMFG....thats amazing...
Very amazing. You guys even have the three Xenosagas!
That is a crud load of games man that amount of games much be worth a fortune. How much you guys think all of the games together are worth?
I'm trying to gauge whether or not I've played enough Metal Gear Solid in my lifetime to stealth my way into the Vault. Just inside, not back out. I imagine I could shimmy through air ducts to suitable bathroom accommodations and live off of the residual dust lining old Cheetos bags I find lying about the office for nourishment once locked within.
I see no security cameras and no comprehensive security on the door. Operation Vault 13 Raid commences at 0100.
I hate you people.
That was really cool. I was never sure if the GI vault was in fact a real place or if it was just a mythical place from which all of the contest prizes originate.
a guy in japan married a digital girl, so i'm guessing it's not totally out of the way to ask the vault to marry me? :)
wow, thats really cool. Nice!
two words, HOLY SPIT! (gotta stay PG for the site now!)
Can I live in that room? I'll work there to pay the rent. I'll be your little librrian if anyone wants a game.
That is freaking sweet. It makes me wish that I worked at Gameinformer
All those systems... all of those games. Such a glorious sight to behold.
All I can say is wow.
