The lights are on
Often called Game Informer’s Library of Congress, the Vault is hands-down the best part of the office. With over 11,000 games currently stored inside and still growing, it really is a sight to behold that each and every editor shows off with nerdy pride. As part of our 200th issue celebration, we’re finally unbolting the locks and giving you the full reveal of everything inside. Above you will find a full, one gigabit interactive 3D image that now only allows you to look around on your own, but zoom in to see just part of our huge collection. To the right and immediately below, we’ve compiled some pretty cool stats and broken down the totals by platform. And finally below, you will find a full, HD video tour with Executive Editor Andrew Reiner and Media Editor Nick Ahrens. They take a walk through the entire collection and point out just some off the coolest items inside. So what are you waiting for? Click the magic link below and start exploring. Note to users, there is no commenting on the special edition Vault page so this is your place to sound off.

*** thats an impressive collection. But im wondering, where is Armorines for the N64? That game was a classic! Its a really good FPS that seems very similar to Halo but better in some ways (campaign wise).
The minute you all opened that door, I thought I was hearing Hallelujah being played...It was so beautiful.
Can you mail me some games? Like Modern Warfare 2? What about Uncharted 2?
I wish my geek-lair was that extensive. It just amazes me.
And not that you would do it, but imagine the money those are worth...
It doesn't even seem real, but I know that it is...
That is drop dead gorgeous.
Im using Firefox on my mac and I can't seem to get the synth thing to work. I've downloaded and installed silverlight, and restarted my browser, even restarted my computer, but i still cant view it. Any help?
Dude jealousy is swelling in my bones.
I am dead serious are you hiring and what age is the minimum? I woud be so happy to be around such treasures of games oh my gosh i cannot believe what you have in there but i feel bad for the ps3 fans such as myself with the reduced amounts.
That is not fair.
Really, really cool. Loved hearing about all the stories and seeing all those rare gems. Thanks for sharing.
***..I need a room like that
... holy !@#$..... so many games so little time
I am soooo jealous.
You should make an intern go through the vault and find out how many hours it takes (on average) to beat every game held within, and find out how many total hours it would take to play through every game in there.
Way to sport the collector's edition of Oblivion. God that's sexy. I wonder if you guys still have the gold coin that came in the package.
so... um, is it true that Reiner hides his um... you know... "dirty laundry" in the red G.I. Joe box?
*** i thought i had a nice collection.... that wtfpwned me :(
Wow, never have I seen that much video games in one place. That is like a gaming muesum you guys have.
