Ubisoft Confirms Post-Launch PoP DLC, Reveals Altair Skin

LC seems to be a requirement for any next-gen game as of late. Taking this into consideration, Ubisoft confirmed yesterday that DLC will be available for Prince of Persia post-launch. No details as to exactly what form the DLC will take have been released, nor when the “post-launch” window signifies.

“Our intention is to do downloadable content that really offers a lot of value for the player - another experience.” said Ben Mattes, Producer.

However cryptic they are being about future added content, Ubisoft did drop a fun bit of information on us this morning. Turns out that they plan to reward Ubisoft fans in the form of an unlockable Altair skin – the hero from Ubisoft’s Assassins Creed.

In order to gain access to the skin, fans must simply link their Ubisoft.com account to their XBL or PSN accounts. After doing so, they will be able to access Altair’s skin when they begin their Prince of Persia adventure.

“Prince of Persia is an incredible experience. We’re thrilled to give our loyal fans another way to journey through it,” said Ben Mattes, producer for Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia video game. “This exclusive reward is a ‘thank you’ to our fans, who can easily unlock it when they link their Ubisoft.com accounts to their Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 gamer identities.”

Prince of Persia is slated to hit retail December 5 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. If you want to learn more about the soon-to-be-released game, check out the official site here.
