Rock Band 2 Wii Confirms DLC And Online Functionality

ucked away in large Rock Band recap, USA Today brought to light an interesting bit of information from MTV Games. Today confirmed with the publisher that the Wii version of Rock Band 2 will indeed incorporate the same functionality – including song downloads and online multiplayer modes – as the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 editions.

While the detail was confirmed by MTV Games, they have not opted to explain where all the DLC will be stored. Last year when Harmonix explained that the original Rock Band title would not include DLC for the Nintendo Wii, they cited lack of storage as the culprit. Evidently – in some form or another – that problem has been bypassed.

Nintendo has been talking of a storage solution for some time now, but have yet to release any specifics about their pending fix.
