ccording to publisher Take-Two Interactive, Grand Theft Auto IV sales broke expectations, hitting the $500 million mark in the first week since its release. That breaks down to 6 million units sold, with 3.6 million of those sales made on the release date. In case you’re wondering, that obliterates Halo 3’s previous record of earning about $300 million in its first week.
