Majesco Will Be Attending E3, Atlus Will Not

ontrary to previous reports, game developer Majesco will in fact be attending E3 this year. We talked to a representative from the company who clued us in to the reason behind the confusion. Final attendance plans for the upcoming expo were not confirmed by some companies until this morning, so expect some more names to be added – or taken off – the E3 attendee list as the day progresses. We will continue to update this news post as we receive more information.

Confirmed as attending E3:

  • Atari
  • Bethesda
  • Capcom
  • id
  • Konami
  • LucasArts
  • Sega
  • Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment

Confirmed as not attending E3:

  • Activision Blizzard will not be attending E3, but will more than likely be holding an event the week of E3.
  • Atlus also confirmed though us that itwill not be attending E3 this year, as it is not part of its 2008 strategy. However, a representative did wish all participants a successful show.
  • Foundation 9 will not be attending E3 this year.
  • NCSoft will not be attending, citing internal reasons as the cause. A representative explained that E3 does not strategically fit into their developmental cycle, but that they will be looking into alternative venues during the 3rd and 4th quarter of this year.
