Game Informer May Cover Revealed

t this year’s GDC, one of the biggest announcements was the reveal that Gears of War 2 was in development. Better still, Epic Games’ Cliffy B. told the crowd at Microsoft’s keynote address that it would be out in time for the 2008 holidays. The first game was one of the biggest blockbusters to hit the Xbox 360, making it clear that people were probably going to want to learn more about the sequel. Well, we don’t say that we’re the number one computer and video-game magazine on our covers to take up space. If you want the worldwide exclusive scoop on Gears of War 2, there’s only one place you’re going to find it—Game Informer Magazine. We’ve got details on new gameplay modes, characters and, of course, enemies. Our 12-page spread is chock full of exclusive screens and tantalizing details. This is one issue you’re not going to want to miss.

We’ve also got a blowout feature on the 18 titles coming out on WiiWare, including plenty of new info. Also in our May issue, check out a series of “what if” pitches from the minds of gaming’s brightest luminaries. What would Todd Howard do with Final Fantasy? What ideas would Ted Price bring to Rock Band? The answers to these questions and much, much more can be found in our May issue—featuring two collectable cover designs!
