EA CFO Calls It Quits

fter nearly six years of employment, Electronic Arts’ CFO Warren Jenson has announced his leaving the company. Jenson had joined EA in 2002 after leaving Amazon.com but has yet to announce his new plans. EA said today that they will be announcing Jenson’s replacement very soon but that the current CFO will stay onboard to see the end of the company’s fiscal year ending on March 31.

According to his Forbes tear sheet, Jenson was the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Amazon.com from 1999 to 2002. From 1998 to 1999, he was the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President for Delta Air Lines. Prior to that, he worked in several positions as part of the General Electric Company. Most notably, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President for the NBC, a subsidiary of General Electric. Mr. Jenson earned his Masters of Accountancy-Business Taxation, and B.S. in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
