ony Computer Entertainment America announced today that MLB 08 The Show will be hitting the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2 and PSP systems just in time for spring training. Sony says the game will offer the most realistic baseball action ever, with more than 3,000 player animations, umpire personalities and a new Progressive Batting Performance feature, which gives players extra incentives like contract bonuses to do their best. The online feature set includes online league action with support for up to 30 teams, a scrolling MLB score ticker and quick-match play.
