See Your Friends' Friends In The Xbox 360 Fall Update

n top of a parental timer and the Xbox Originals being released on
December 4th, Microsoft today announced that the Fall update (it is kind of chilly in December) will also allow users to see who their friends have on their friends lists.  This new feature called Friends of Friends will allow you to see friends' friends lists and invite them to be your friend. There will be a new Friends List setting in the dashboard (and on Xbox.com) to allow you to have more control of who sees what.

When the Fall update is released, the default setting will allow everyone to see who your friends are. There will be three settings that will allow for a bit more privacy including Everyone (only available to members 18 and older), Friends only (available to members 13 and older), and Blocked (available to all members, and automatic for anyone under the age of 13).

According to Major Nelson, this isn't the only new feature for the Fall Update. We'll have more information when it becomes available.
