QuakeCon 2007: Three New Quake Arena Projects In The Works

d Software today announced that they have multiple Quake Arena titles coming down the pipe. First off, id has partnered with Pi Studios and Microsoft for Quake Arena Arcade, an Xbox Live Arcade title.

Quake Zero was revealed, a new free web based version of Quake Arena that is being developed by a brand new id Software team.  Finally, in our interview with John Carmack, Carmack revealed that once this new team was finished with Quake Zero and everything was working smoothly, they’ll be transitioning into working on the next Quake Arena title that will be powered by id Tech 5.
