ichard Garriott’s latest MMORPG, Tabula Rasa, benefits from his decades of experience and pioneering work with the Ultima series. While Tabula Rasa’s post-apocalyptic sci-fi world is a far cry from the magical lands of Britannia, Garriott’s enthusiasm for storytelling, moral exploration and innovative gameplay is just as prevalent.

Tabula Rasa’s producer, Starr Long, stopped by our offices and gave us an exclusive guided tour of the game. It’s looking even better than it did at GDC a few months ago—and it wasn’t exactly slouching before.
