Sony Pondering Larger Hard Drive For PlayStation 3

s Sony plans to stop selling the 20GB version of the PlayStation 3, the company revealed that it's considering having a larger capacity drive in the PlayStation 3 according to a Bloomberg report released today. Currently 60GB is the largest available hard drive included in the PlayStation 3 hardware, which according to Sony Japan accounts for 90% of PlayStation 3 sales.

"It's in line with our strategy as we had planed to choose models based on consumer needs," Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Spokesperson Satoshi Fukuoka said.

How big and when is still up in the air. We'll keep you posted.
