hile PlayStation 3 exclusive titles such as Devil May Cry, Assassin's Creed and Virtua Fighter have been dropping like flies as of late, not many people would have thought that Square's Final Fantasy XIII would be another one to drop. Apparently, this exclusivity is in discussion, according to Sony Computer Entertainment France president Georges Fornay.
In an interview with French newspaper Les Dernières Nouvelles d'Alsace (thanks, GameSpot, for the translation), the president discussed launch plans for the country and said that he was expecting that there would be 200 titles for the PS3 in the country. However, he continued by dropping the bomb that "As far as Final Fantasy XIII goes, I can tell you that the exclusivity is in discussion."
Final Fantasy XIII appearing on multiple systems would be a blow to the company, considering new major console iterations of the series have only appeared on Sony platforms and the PC (outside of FFXI) since Final Fantasy VII was released in 1997.
