oday in Japan is the 20th Anniversary of the release of Super Mario Bros., and Nintendo is celebrating Mario's birthday with the release of a number of different items.  Most importantly, the Game Boy Micro is being released in Japan in a few different colors.

For Famicom collectors, Nintendo is also releasing a special edition Famicom version of the Game Boy Micro.

Today Nintendo is also re-releasing the Famicom-mini version of Super Mario Bros., as well as a combo game pak of Panel de Pon (Tetris Attack) and Dr. Mario - which as you can see Jeremy is quite hungry for.

The Game Boy Micro will be released in North America in a few days, but for now, the only place you can nab one is in Japan.
