oday Nintendo announced the breeds that will be featured in the North American version of Nintendogs.  Just as in Japan, there will be three different versions of the game available, but there will also be three different dog breeds added for the US version.  They are Golden Retriever, Husky and Boxer.

• The Labrador Retriever version will include Miniature Schnauzers, Toy Poodles, Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Miniature Pinscher and Shiba Inus.
• The Chihuahua version will include German Shepherds, Boxers, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Yorkshire Terriers and Shetland Sheepdog.
• The Miniature Dachshund version will have Golden Retrievers, Beagles, Pugs, Siberian Huskies and Shih Tzus.

Note, all versions of the games will contain all dogs, but depending on which version you choose, you'll only get these specific dogs from the outset.  For more information about Nintendogs, check out our extensive preview of the Japanese version of the game.
