GoldenEye: Rogue Agent Headed To DS, First Screens

intendo today announced their "Road To E3 Media Tour," where Nintendo Team members will drive around the country showing off the hottest upcoming Nintendo GameCube, GBA, and DS titles to the adoring public.

But alongside the newly created page on Nintendo's "Road To E3 Media Tour" was also another surprise.  Apparently EA will be bringing their recently released FPS GoldenEye: Rogue Agent to the DS.

In the game players take on the role of a rogue 00 agent, dismissed from MI6 for reckless behavior.  After a run-in with Dr. No that takes his eye, he begins to work with Auric Goldfinger and his evil corporation.

In the game, players will be able to dual-wield a variety of weapons, use enemies as shields, and utilize the special power of their "goldeneye," an device capable of doing things like setting up a bullet-repelling shield around your body, hack electrical devices and guns, and even use MRI vision.

While the single player game will span six missions and include a number of classic "Bond" villains, you'll also be able to play wireless multiplayer matches with up to seven other players.

Also, the title will utilize the DS's touch-screen technology and allow you to check ammo levels, hack electronics, and decode security locks.

Currently GoldenEye: Rogue Agent is slated to ship for the DS in June.
