Itagaki Speaks:  Dead Or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball Sequel In The Works

e're currently working on a feature story that we're going to be posting early next year (it's super secret), but we received an interesting tidbit that couldn’t wait.  In one of the answers we received from Team Ninja's head honcho Tomonobu Itagaki, he admitted there was a sequel to Dead Or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball in the works.

When asked if he would like to have the ability to have custom soundtracks in the next generation of consoles, Itagaki-san responded, "I’m considering it for the sequel to Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball, but then I’ll need a hard disc."

While Itagaki-san didn’t come out directly and say it, it’s looking like the sequel will be heading to Xbox 2/Xenon.  When we asked Tecmo about it today, they basically stated, “I don’t think it’ll be happening for a while.”

We’ll have more on this story when it breaks.
