Halo 2 Pre-Orders Close To One Million
 ccording to a report in the Seattle Times today, Microsoft is reporting that the number of Halo 2 pre-orders has reached close to one million copies. This makes Halo 2 the highest presale in the history of video games.
Retailers that Game Informer has spoken with can't confirm these numbers, but many have stated that they're planning on having "Midnight Madness" sales on launch day, and hiring extra "temp workers" to handle the volume of business they're expecting.
Halo 2 will be released on November 9th.
