Radica UK/Electronic Arts Announce Partnership

adica UK Ltd., manufacturers of Gamester, the UK's leading brand of video games accessories, and Electronic Arts today announced a co-operative partnership agreement that will bring peripherals and game bundles to the UK market.

Beginning in October 2003, the deal will see the launch of limited edition double packs featuring a leading EA release and a unique Gamester peripheral. First to market will be SSX 3 and a unique version of the Gamester Sportsboard for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, which has been developed exclusively for the title. This will be followed by versions of Medal of Honor Rising Sun for PlayStation 2 and the Xbox video game system from Microsoft with the Gamester FPS Master, which has also been designed exclusively for the title.

Jason Thompson, Head of Sales for Radica
UK, commented: "The combination of great game titles from EA and unique accessories from Radica will create an environment that will take the gaming experience to a new level. We have spent time building an excellent working relationship, and are looking at this as a long-term project, with the aim to create complimentary products that will add both monetary and gaming value for the consumer. "

Tom Paltridge, UK Strategic Sales and Licensing Manager for EA, added: "We are pleased to have partnered with Radica
UK on these exciting peripherals and believe they provide a great added-value extension to our existing products."

The bundle packs will be released to coincide with the launch of the stand-alone software release.
