BioShock DLC Hits Xbox Live, Windows

eed an excuse to take another trip into Rapture? 2K Games has released an update for its BioShock game, available on the Xbox Live Marketplace or as a PC patch from www.2Kgames.com/bioshock/support. The update includes four new Plasmids and Gene Tonics: Sonic Boom, which lets players toss around enemies and objects; EVE Saver, a sneaky way to get the most bang from your EVE buck; Vending Expert cuts prices at vending machines and Machine Buster makes it easier to dismantle cameras, bots and turrets. Xbox 360 owners can also get 100 Achievement points for beating the game on the hard difficulty setting without dying. Finally, the update supports actual widescreen, whereas before it simply cropped the field of vision from the default 4:3 ratio to fit in a 16:9 screen.
