Energizer Produces New Batteries Aimed At Gamers

f you are looking for a longer lasting battery to fuel your gaming peripherals, Energizer thinks it has a product for you. The battery powerhouse recently announced a new line of Energizer Advanced Lithium batteries. While the batteries are marketed for items such as digital cameras, MP3 players and other hand-held devices, Energizer boasts that they are perfect particularly for wireless gaming accessories.

The company states that the batteries last up to 20 hours longer than their standard batteries, and weigh 33 percent less than normal alkaline brands.

“We expect Energizer Advanced Lithium to appeal to active gamers, music lovers and others who want to enjoy the benefits of our industry-leading lithium technology,” said Betsy Laakko, Director of Battery Marketing for Energizer.  “Whether playing a video game, photographing a special memory or listening to music, using Energizer Advanced Lithium will ensure that the fun lasts and lasts.”

To promote the batteries, Energizer has been touring with Rock Band  this summer to festivals throughout the country.
