PSP Outsells Nintendo DS In North America

ccording to Mercury News Research, in 2005 Sony's PSP outsold the Nintendo DS by 1.2 million units in North America. According to the statistics, 2.43 million Nintendo DSs were sold in North America versus 3.63 million PSPs. However, if you tack on the 4.26 million Game Boy Advance units, Nintendo still owns the portable market in North America by 64.5%.
