arly this morning Square Enix announced the official Chrono Trigger DS released date, which is now set at November 25 of this year. The timing seems perfect, as it will be hitting retail shelves in order to accommodate the holiday rush.

The revisited edition of the Chrono Trigger will have everything you know and love about the original title – which was released for the Super Nintendo in 1995. However, the game has been updated to function with the dual-screen feature, and will also work with the touch-screen capabilities. We were also informed to look for new dungeons, and a new Arena mode in addition to the classic elements. Considering that the original title shipped over 2.5 million copies worldwide, we expect this title will make many-a Christmas list this year.
