Jakks Announce Tecmo Bowl TV Games

akks Pacific announced today that they have signed a worldwide licensing agreement with Tecmo to develop and market Jakks' TV Games products based on Tecmo Bowl and other classic Tecmo properties. This Tecmo Bowl TV Games unit by Jakks Pacific will feature games based on classic Tecmo titles, including Tecmo Basketball, Mighty Bombjack, Fire-n-Ice, Solomon's Key and Tecmo Bowl.

"Tecmo Bowl is a hugely successful mainstream football classic," said Nelo Lucich, Vice President of Interactive, Jakks Pacific, Inc. "We expect that Tecmo Bowl, along with the other Tecmo titles will also be successful on our TV Games platform. The Tecmo franchise is yet another great addition to our retro TV Games line-up."

"We are very excited to partner with Jakks Pacific in bringing back such treasured Tecmo franchises as Tecmo Bowl, which has again proven its high consumer value and demand on mobile phones this year," commented William M. Cox, Director of Sales, Tecmo, Inc. "We look forward to future commercial success for both our companies based on Jakks Pacific's unique TV Games products and our classic Tecmo titles."

The Tecmo Bowl TV Games units by Jakks Pacific are slated to launch in 2005 and are expected to retail for approximately $20.00. For more information on Jakks Pacific's TV Games line, please visit www.jakkstvgames.com.
