ockstar has unveiled a few key details concerning Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories upcoming release. The game will come out on October 17 for a steep $49.99.

Keep in mind, however, that Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories debuted with the same price at almost the same time last year and still remains one of the top sellers on the PSP's all-time charts.

But this time around, GTA fans are expecting an eventual cheap PS2 port of Vice City Stories somewhere down the line. Liberty City Stories had a solid eight months of PSP exclusivity. Now that it's available on PS2 for $20 or less, a lot more gamers are signing up.

It'll be interesting to see how many extremely patient gamers are out there and how it will affect Vice City Stories' premiere on PSP. For now, you can check out the final box art for the game. See if you can spot any familiar faces.
