idway Games Inc. today announced that Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe has gone gold and is scheduled to be available in retail stores throughout North America on November 16, 2008 and throughout Europe on November 21, 2008.

Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe pits the most popular heroes and villains from the Mortal Kombat and DC Comics series against each other.  Finally, we can find out if Sub-Zero can freeze Superman or if Sonya Blade stands a chance against Wonder Woman.  The game also features a new fighting system including FreeFall Kombat and Klose Kombat.
