apcom plans on bringing Frank West to the Wii. Today they announced Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop, which is set to release this winter. The Wii port boasts a more immersive, intuitive and interactive experience by allowing players to use their remote to “slash and bludgeon their way through a zombie infested shopping mall.”

Other than the added Wii remote functionality, the game looks to be virtually the same. Chop Till You Drop utilizes the same engine as Resident Evil 4 Wii edition, and argues that the added functionality will allow for more seamless gameplay.
