MGS 4 Gets PS3 Bundle, Dualshock 3s Priced, Red PSP Revealed
t its annual retailer-only Destination PlayStation conference, Sony revealed a slew of interesting news items. First, the long-awaited Metal Gear Solid 4 will be heading down the release pipeline late in the second
quarter of 2008 in a special PS3 bundle. The package will include an 80 GB PlayStation 3, the game and a Dualshock 3 wireless controller—all for $499. If you’re looking for the Dualshock 3 controller on its own, you’re in luck. The rumble-enhanced controllers will be shipping this April in the U.S. for $54.99.

On the portable front, a limited-edition deep red PSP will be launched in June as part of a God of War PSP Entertainment Pack. The bundle will include the system, with main character Kratos silk-screened on its back, God of War: Chains of Olympus, Superbad on UMD and a voucher that can be redeemed to download Syphon Filter: Combat Ops from the PlayStation store. The game will be sold individually in stores March 4.
