EA Mobile Announces New iPhone Lineup

A Mobile is revving up their iPhone catalogue with the announcement of ten new titles. The first – Spore Origins – is the most noteworthy. In development for the iPhone/ iPod Touch, the game will utilize the built-in accelerometer as the player navigates through primordial ooze on an evolutionary quest. Spore Origins will include 35 levels and two modes, in addition to a Creature Editor.

“We’re really excited to bring Spore Origins to the iPhone and iPod touch,” said Travis Boatman, Vice President Worldwide Studios at EA Mobile. “By leveraging the unique capabilities of these devices, players can customize their own creatures and shape their destiny in an exciting evolutionary journey.”

Spore Origins is expected to launch later this month. EA Mobile also announced nine additional titles in production for the iPhone. While the list begins similar to that we have come to expect from mobile phone titles, it ends a bit stronger. The Sims, Need for Speed and Tiger Woods are all making there way to the mobile market.
